Summer Camo
Club Monaco Skirt, Wilfred Tank, Wilfred Jacket, Valentino Pumps, Alexander Wang Handbag, Tiffany Necklace, Hermes Watch, David Yurman Bracelets
Camo is one of those prints that never truly goes out of style, especially when done in a feminine piece like a skirt. I always feel a little bit edgy when wearing it, and sometimes I forget that others can still see me, despite that fact that I am, indeed, wearing camouflage. The best part of this skirt, other than the print, are definitely the pockets. That is most likely where I’ll be keeping my hard hat and boots, because you have to be prepared at all times, right?

This past weekend was a Civic Holiday in Canada, giving us all an extra day off to enjoy as we wish. My weekend turned out to be a fantastic combination of friends, family and spending as much time as possible indulging in summer cocktails being active outdoors. Hoping everyone had a lovely little weekend and made it home safe and sounds. Here’s to a productive, fashion filled week ahead.
Pink Tones
Aritzia Dress, Prada Wedges, Celine Handbag, Vintage Chanel Necklace, Prada Sunglasses, Michael Kors Watch, Stella & Dot Bracelets, David Yurman Bracelet, La Vie Parisienne Earrings
I’ve declared my love of pink before, but wearing it in the summer is when it truly shines. While fall dressing is by far my favorite, the summer days of throwing on a single dress and heading out of the house, truly can’t be beat. Now if only there were a beach nearby..
Delicate Print
Joie Dress, Celine Pumps, Alexander Wang Handbag, Tiffany Earrings (similar here), Chanel Watch, Charriol Bracelet
It seems as though the summer is passing much too quickly and I truly cannot believe we’re on the last day of July. Each year I get older the years by go more quickly, and before you know it, a year has disappeared, and then five. I plan on sitting down and creating a summer to-do list just to ensure I make the most of these beautiful days. At the top of it..taking my morning coffee and Baileys out on the patio to welcome the day.
Book Club – Afternoon Luncheon
Another month and another fabulous book club gathering with the wonderful ladies in my life. This past month we read the book Rules of Civility by Amor Towles, set in 1937. I initially had visions of elaborate 1930s cocktails and appetizers, with other ’30s details being incorporated. Alas, life does not always cooperate with entertaining schedules, so with basically no prep time I made a quick decision. I came up with the idea of a make-your-own sandwich bar, and complimented that with decadent dessert bars from my favorite local cafe and bakery, the Lazy Loaf and Kettle. We washed the deliciousness down with lemonade and a vodka punch, because bevvies are mandatory at book club, reading the book is optional.
