White Out Conditions
Topshop X Kate Moss Collection Dress, Alexander Wang Sandals, Christian Louboutin Clutch, Chanel Watch, Tiffany Bracelet, Chanel Sunglasses, La Vie Parisienne Earrings
Now that the weather has finally decided to cooperate it’s game on for dresses, shorts and skirts. I love this time of year, that the sun rises early and sets late. I love being able to sit outside with a cup of coffee, and I love not having to worry about toques and mittens and parkas as I run out the door. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year, but spring turning into summer is a close second.

This past weekend was what we call the May-long. It’s the Canadian equivalent of Memorial Day weekend, the one that signifies the start of the summer, unofficially of course. I can remember getting so excited about this weekend during university. Exams were over, the weather was warming up, and it usually involved a group of friends heading out to the lake. While I don’t anticipate the weekend in the same way, it’s always nice to have extra time to spend with friends and family whose schedules are also blissfully chaotic.
Red on Bottom
Mason Tank, Rag & Bone Denim (similar here), Rebecca Taylor Jacket (different color), Gianvito Rossi Pumps, Chloe Handbag, Anzie Earrings, Hermes Watch, Stella & Dot Bracelet, David Yurman Bracelet, Tiffany Necklaces, Lisbeth Necklace
During the cold winter months, for a variety of reasons, I tend to stick to dark neutrals below the waist. However, when that spring sunshine starts making an appearance, at an unreasonable hour I might add, all of that conservative logic disappears. I love adding a pop of colour in my denim, and red in particular is a favourite. It feels so fresh and light and oh-so-spring.
Grandma Style
Rag & Bone Denim, T by Alexander Wang T Shirt, Trout Coat, Fendi Flats, Chanel Handbag, Hermes Watch, Tiffany Bracelet, David Yurman Bracelet, Tiffany Earrings
I had a moment last week while spending the day with one of my favourite cousin. We stopped in at a little vintage shop downtown to take a look around, and I became completely smitten with ensembles from eras earlier. Delicate little 50s dresses that looked worthy of Betty Draper, and 80s dresses complete with puffy sleeves and peplums. I couldn’t help myself. I truly feel that nothing is entirely outdated if the styling behind it is on point. So with that in mind, I took my brand new ‘Grandma’ style coat out on the town, and felt completely relevant. How does that song go again, oh right, everything old is new again.
Boho Vibe
Topshop x Kate Moss Dress (similar here), Burberry Trench Coat, Rag & Bone Booties, Tom Ford Handbag, Michael Kors Watch, Links of London Bracelet, Alden Rae Bracelet, Tiffany Earrings, Lisbeth Neckalce
When I received the invite for a shopping preview of the Kate Moss x Topshop collaboration, I ran, not walked to drool over the collection. Kate Moss had such a hand in the design of each and every piece, and you can feel her presence in all of them. I left with a fabulous little romper and pretty LWD (little white dress), but went back online to order this dress with a serious bohemian flare. I always wondered what I’d wear to Coachella should the opportunity to go ever arise, and surely, this dress would do the trick. I’m envisioning it in the warm evenings of summer with sandals, a ponytail and a glass of vino.
