I’m in disbelief that Christmas is less than ten days away. How does it always seem to be so far away and you blink and it’s here? I’m heading up to the lake for a week of baking, perogy making, and soaking in the season. As much as I have always declared my passion and love of this particular holiday, I think my daughter may love it even more than I. For those who know me, this is a big statement, but if you could witness her energy and sheer joy and excitement over seeing Christmas lights, trees set up, having family around, and the whole concept of Santa, you’d understand. It’s making everything that much more magical around here.
Until the big day rolls around I’ll be over here in what has become an outfit on serious repeat. Oversized blazers are definitely my jam these days, often over top a chunky sweater, a casual hoodie or a basic tee. I sized up to get the look just right, and have even worn it over a jogging set and sneakers. If it wasn’t already hanging in my closet there would be an SOS to Santa to have one under the tree.
