Does anyone else get a serious craving to spring clean the moment the snow melts away, and you open the windows to enjoy that warm, crisp, spring air? I can’t enter a room in my home without doing a quick mental inventory of every item that needs to be dusted, donated or discarded. I love how productive I am this time of year, I love that the sun stays out to play later and later each night, and I love the feeling of finding a new home for items that we no longer have use for. This is the first spring since my sweet baby boy was born that I actually feel ambitious enough to tackle spring cleaning, before that it was definitely more survive than thrive, as some seasons are. If you need me I’ll be knee deep in organization and cleaning, but not before searching for and printing out a check list to make sure I cover every little crevasse.
