Spring has definitely sprung here in Calgary, that warm spring time breeze has rolled in, and the snow and ice are virtually all melted.  These images are from a few weeks back and a stark contrast to what things look like now.  March has been a killer month over here, with time passing at an exponentially fast pace.  We managed to get away as a family and hit the slopes, but were also struck with a heartbreaking loss in the family.  If this month could have been summed up in one word it would have been just that, family.  It was a reminder that time passes quickly, life can be short, and family is everything.  All of this coinciding with the start of spring has given me all the feels, and while the saying says something about hitting the ground running, I’m hitting the ground at a snail’s pace, to make I can soak it all in.
