When the heat starts rising and pants are no longer an option, it becomes an easy choice between shorts, skirts and dresses. There are times though that despite my depth of love for tattered boyfriend shorts, I don’t want to look like I just rolled out of bed. One of my favorite looks this summer is pairing a fabulously glam top with the unexpected disheveled-ness of my boyfriend shorts. I feel the perfect mix of comfy on the bottom, classy on the top. Completing the look with a classic clutch instead of a clunky purse that just gets in the way, I sometimes feel like I could conquer summer solely based on this outfit alone. Although, on second thought that’s just crazy, every gal needs options.
