One of my most favorite things to do on the weekend is to sleep-in and do brunch. So when my girlfriends were visiting from the west coast a couple of weekends ago, it only made sense to put on a pot of coffee, blare the tunes and whip up a big batch of waffles. I found this recipe for Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Waffles and it did not disappoint. You can easily elevate your waffle brunch experience through toppings. I like to put out a variety of berries, along with chocolate and peanut butter chips. Drizzle some maple syrup on top and throw some Bailey’s in the coffee…why would you ever eat out again?
